Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the TrotTracker G3 mobile application, website and related services provided by ConsultPDD AS (“TrotTracker”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Training aid, not a safety system

TrotTracker is a training and information tool. GPS measurements can be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on the app as a navigation, emergency, veterinary, regulatory or safety system. You remain responsible for safe driving, animal welfare and compliance with applicable rules.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Your training data

You retain responsibility for training information you create or upload. You grant us the limited right to process that data only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service, provide synchronization and support, and comply with law. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload malicious content, reverse engineer protected service components except where law permits, or use the service in a way that infringes another person's rights.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep TrotTracker available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the product develops. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or misuse prevention.

6. Third-party services

The service may use or link to third-party platforms such as Apple, Google and OpenStreetMap. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their services. Availability of those platforms is outside our control.

7. Accounts and termination

You may stop using TrotTracker at any time. You can delete your account from the app or follow the instructions on our account deletion page. We may restrict or terminate access for material misuse or where required by law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that GPS figures, route data or analysis will always be complete or accurate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised with us so we can try to resolve them.
